This Dallas-based industry leader has an immediate full-time opening in Oak Cliff for an IT Systems Engineer. This position offers flex hours and the ability to work from home one day per week.  Responsibilities include:

•    Administering a hybrid Office 365 environment which includes but is not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
•    Managing Exchange Online Protection email spam filtering,
•    Supporting Microsoft Office applications,
•    Providing desk-side and remote hardware/software support for corporate and retail end-users,
•    Supporting remote employees.
•    Supporting on-prem server technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DFS, file security, and Print Management.
•    Tracking IT tickets using Atlassian JIRA.
•    Documenting IT information for technical reference as well as end-user reference using Atlassian Confluence.
•    Working with 3rd party organizations which provide escalated IT support, server hosting, server backups, ERP support, and phone system management.
•    Escalating advanced IT support requests to 3rd party IT support resources as needed.
•    Handling system outages and being the point of communication between external and internal groups.
•    Ensuring best security practices are being utilized across all company systems. Providing guidance and remediation for potential risks.
•    Interfacing with end-users regarding ERP system issues and escalate to 3rd party ERP consulting firm for assistance.
•    Analyzing hardware aging/usage and facilitate with replacement lifecycle and budgeting.
•    Network cable termination, pulling, devices, and network rack organization.
•    Working in a self-sufficient manner with minimal internal technical guidance.
•    Working with corporate leadership to identify solutions to meet evolving technical needs throughout the company.

This position requires:

•    5+ years experience as an IT Systems Engineer providing desk-side, remote, and onsite IT hardware/software support in a Microsoft environment.
•    Experience with administering a hybrid Office 365 environment which includes but is not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
•    Experience manage Exchange Online Protection email spam filtering.
•    Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications.
•    Experience providing desk-side and remote hardware/software support for corporate and end-users.
•    Experience supporting remote employees.

•    Proficiency managing A/V solutions and technologies.
•    Experience providing face to face end-user training and development sessions for IT managed systems and services.
•    Basic understanding of Avaya IP Office to manage phone extension information.
•    Experience educating end-users on IT security best-practices using a testing and e-learning platform.
•    Experience with monitoring, controlling, and locating systems using an RMM tool.
