This role will be contract only.  This person will come in and help with full stack development needs.  This will be at least 6 months.

Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Application Developer for a contract opportunity. 

Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating knowledge of data processing equipment, programming languages, programming techniques, operating systems, and test and data management. 

Three or more years of:

  • Application programming / analysis experience, demonstrating the ability to analyze and solve logical problems such as may be found in mathematics, statistics, etc. 
  • Agile / iterative project management development.

Demonstrates familiarity and some working knowledge of each of the following:

  • C#, ASP.NET, and the .NET 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 Framework.
  • MS SQL Server 2008 / 2016 technology and T / SQL.
  • Basic relational database design.

The following skills are desired:

  • Windows Communication Framework (WCF) and REST.
  • MS Visual Studio 2010 / 2017.
  • TFS Online.
  • Solid experience with Object Oriented Principles.
  • Developed applications using design patterns such as MVVM.
  • Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, Ajax, Kendo, Bootstrap, and XML / XSLT.
  • Crystal Reports.
  • Rapid Action Development Tools / No Code Platforms.

Key Competencies (Non-technical Behavioral Skills, i.e. presentation, negotiation, customer service skills), you may just list the most important 7 - 10, in priority order:

  • Demonstrates the ability to ask questions and gather information in order to create customer requested reports.  Demonstrates the ability to identify problems and suggest possible causes and solutions. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to review and proofread work for accuracy and completes specific aspects of assignments, as directed.  Concentrates on tasks at hand, even in distracting work environments. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to present information in a clear, concise, and organized manner; listen to others to obtain information.

Position requires the following physical activity:

  • Fingering – frequently type with the fingers, and/or separate pages of documents, etc.

  • Reaching – occasionally extend hand (s) and arm (s) in any direction.
  • Repetitive motion – frequent substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Seeing – constantly use visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations.
  • Sitting – frequently sit for sustained periods of time.
  • Talking – frequently express or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
