Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Shoreview, Minnesota 55126 
Term: 7 Months Contract
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 
  • Picking items using pick slips containing the details of what items and quantities are to be shipped on order.
  • Packing shipments in a way to ensure that the items being shipped are not damaged.
  • Performing the job in a neat and organized way while paying extreme attention to detail.
  • Weighs and processes packages then applies shipping labels on packages.
  • Performs inventory control activities such as cycle counting and inventory transfers.
  • Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks, as required by management.
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and motivation to accomplish team goals.
  • Must work well with others and be a strong team player.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and via electronic messages.
  Physical/environmental demands
  • Lifting -- up to 50 lbs
  • Standing – up to 8 hours per day
  • Bending
  • Vision
  • Color perception
  • Depth perception
  • Reading
  • Good Hearing
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs
