Job Title: Angular Developer
Location: Dallas, TX 
Term: 6 Months Contract
 
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 
  • Under general supervision, plans, analyzes, develops, maintains, and supports a moderately complex application or a small system.
  • Participates in the design, specification, implementation, and maintenance of systems.
  • Designs, codes, tests, and documents software programs of moderate complexity as per the requirement specifications.
  • Participates in design reviews and technical briefings for specific applications.
  • Assists in preparation of requirement specifications, laying out of screens, reports, and forms including documenting and revising user procedures and/or manuals.
  • Involved with resolution of low complexity software development issues that may arise in a production environment.
  • Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
  • Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
  • Supports existing software application to cover incident management, problem management, and release management. 
 
Is this a good fit? (Requirements): 
  • Qualified candidate will have 7+ years of software development experience in Web development and Digital technologies.
  • Extensive working experience building web applications using AngularJS 2.0/4.0, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JQuery.
  • Extensive Knowledge in developing single-page applications using various JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, Backbone.js, and Node.js.
  • Extensive knowledge using MVC framework and building components using Ajax, JQuery, Object Oriented (OO) JavaScript, JSON, and XML.
  • Expert knowledge in CSS3 (Less or SASS) and HTML5 (AppCache, local storage, Geolocation, SQLite, Device Capabilities access).
  • Working experience integrating with backend - Django (Python) framework, GoLang, beego framework etc.
  • Working experience in interfacing with SOAP / REST APIs / Web services. Strong knowledge / working experience with NOSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control tools - Git, SVN, TFS etc. Experience working in Agile / Scrum development cycles - using JIRA and TFS tools.
  • Working experience with Unit testing and End to End testing tools - preferably Karma, Protractor or similar alternatives.
  • Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks, Creating e2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well reasoned alternative).
  • Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
